Not sure when to buy ticket!

We are going to Paris in Spring...but also think we want to go in September. We get back to San Diego beginning of June.. Is it possible to wait till then to buy tickets for September flights? Not sure we will be able to go so I don't want to buy just now..

Or is that just a question noone can answer..

Yes, of course you can wait until September to buy tickets. And if you don;t know yet if you can even go, I would say that is a prudent decision.

If you travel after 15 September or so, chances of fares rocketing are minimal.

As a number of posts here have noted, Paris in September is beautiful but very crowded with trade shows, conferences, etc, and nice hotel rooms can be scarce. Before I bought the tickets, I would want to be sure I had a place to stay. This is a time when renting an apartment makes great sense.

September is the High Season. You can definitely wait, but airfares might just skyrocket! So, try to book in advance if you want to save $$$!!

Yes, that would be great. Be flexible with dates. If you love dancing in the rain, you can consider November too! It's not too crowded in Nov, plus hotels are quite affordable and available and so are cheap airfares
