Newark connection
I will arrrive newark on terminal c from orlando and i will leave in one hour and a half from terminal b back home to europe. Both operated by united airlines.
Is it enough time? Do i have to pass security again and drop bagage? Thank you! Answer |
Since you are flying on the same airline your bags should be checked through to your final destination so no need to claim and recheck them at EWR. You also should get your boarding pass for your connecting flight when you check-in for your Orlando to Newark flight.
Unfortunately upon arrival at EWR, you will have to exit the secure area in Terminal C and take the AirTram to Terminal B (Tram runs every 3 minutes and takes only about 2 or 3 minutes to travel between terminals). You'll have to clear TSA at Terminal B before proceeding to your departure gate for your connecting flight. If your inbound flight arrives on time (or close to it) you should be able to make your connection in 90 minutes but I wouldn't dilly-dally along the way. FYI - Too bad your connecting flight isn't departing out of Terminal A because there is a shuttle bus that goes between Terminals A & C that keeps you "inside" the secure area (as far as I know it doesn't service Terminal B). |
Actually, the airside shuttle bus does connecticut C with both B and A terminals. http://www.united.com/web/en-US/cont.../maps/ewr.aspx
IIRC, you pick it up around gate C73. Be ready to show your boarding pass for the flight out of B terminal. |
United Airlines do not have flights departing from EWR Terminal B. Check your itinerary again.

rk - likely a codeshare, don't you think?

Sure, and it's not "operated by United".
