Need Northwest Airlines E-cert
Hi,
I'm a college student on a tight budget. I'm trying to visit my sweetheart, but after searching all the airline and discount sites (hotwire, etc.), the cheapest ticket I can find is still $370. Does anyone have a NWA e-cert he/she is not using, or know how I can go about procuring one? I would be grateful for any help! |
I have not seen or heard of these in quite a while - with flights so full these days, they may not need to do such promoting. Tried Priceline?

I've looked on Priceline, and not only are tickets the same price as NWA, but they also make you connect once. (NWA has a direct flight.)

okeldokel- Give this web site a try, my wife and I both teach and our daughter is a junior at the University of Tennessee and we all use Student Universe. It has saved us as much as 50% on flights. This system will look to verify your student status (for my daughter it was a simple e-mail with instructions to her campus e-mail address)
This web site doesn't allow you to pick each leg of the flight, but instead gives you a roundtrip fare. You can see all options, but the fare depends on where you're going. Let us know if this helps! http://www.studentuniverse.com/ |
Do you have any FF miles with NWA? Their web site shows a promotion using 10,000 or 20,000 miles for discounted fares. It's called Fall Cash and Miles.
Good Luck! |
Thanks for all the tips! I've checked Student Universe, and it does not really save me a significant amount, which is disappointing since I have used them in the past. My best bet might be doing the NWA fall cash and miles, but I'm really hoping a better promotion comes my way.
