Narita connection
Do ANA and United share the same terminal at Narita? As I recall the last time I had a connecting flight at Narita, arriving on an ANA flight and connecting to a United flight I had to change terminals and it was a long walk then a bus to transfer to the terminal where United flights departed. It took a lot of time to make that transfer. Is that still the case? I am considering making arrangements where I need to make this connection and would only have about 90 minutes to are it. Given thatmy arriving flight might be a bit late that 90 minutes becomes less.

It is a longish walk but not too bad. Easily done. There is no bus transfer, just walking from one gate to the other. There are nice shops to pass...... maybe some window shopping?? You should be fine.
The only time I had a problem was when my UA flight was 3 hours late arriving NRT and I had to overnight (their expense) and fly onward the next day to BKK. |
As far as I know, they share the same terminal. We have used both the United and ANA lounges for ongoing flights and they are just near different gates.

Yes, that is my experience as well. I'll be flying ANA from Narita to Seattle this year, transferring from Thai.

All Star Alliance airlines use Narita Terminal 1 South Wing. Thai used to have a lounge there too, but no more.
