Not a movie, but....United has XM Satellite radio (actually recorded versions of...) on its planes now. On a flight to Hawaii a few weeks ago, I decided to save the battery on my Ipod and try it out - until I realized that I was listening to Tom Petty's <i>Free Fallin'</i> at 35,000 feet over the Pacific.

Won't see <i>When Do We Eat?</i>
Movies you probably will see in flight: <i>Titanic</i> and <i>Poseidon</i>
I saw <i>Memoirs of a Geisha</i> on a flight to Japan recently. Other appropriate flight/movie combos:
On most Delta flights: <i>ATL</i>
On flights from NYC to SFO: <i>Transamerica</i>
(because it is a cross-country flight, or maybe because Transamerica is HQ'd in San Francisco, or some other reason)

They actually were showing "Poseidon Adventure" (the first one) during an incredibly turbulent flight over the ocean. There wasn't enough dramamine in the world to deal with that one....
