Most Lux Cabin?

I would like to travel just for the sake of travel on the best cabin in the sky. Only problem I dunno which! I have heard nice things about BA sleeper cabins and Sing. Airs also but curious what you folks thought?!

Go into Flyer Talk Miles, go down to either BA or SI forums and you will find a great deal of discussion about seats, cabins, etc..., and if you still can't find what you looking for, then post on these forums and I'm sure you will get your answers. Most of the people that visit that site are the top frequent flyers so they know their stuff.

We just returned from a trip on Singapore Airlines (SQ). They have spoiled us for other airlines. The first class cabin is fantastic. The crew was outside waiting for their dinky bus and saw us struggling with our luggage. The head steward came over and put it all on the Hertz bus for us. Above and beyond the call of duty.

Is First Class really as Lux as they say on SQ? Ok to carry on bags, if seated in the middle row (2) since there are no overhead bins for these seats? Anyone know?

It would seem like the middle seats would be squeezed out, BUT you have to realize that the 12 seats in F occupy enough room for about 28 in business or about 40 in coach. So there is no need to have all the overhead bins like in the back of the bus .

It is that lux and it is an experience. There are some great pictures on www.airliners.net, do a photo search, Singapore airlines, cabin views and plane type 747-400.

SINGAPORE FIRST IS BY FAT THE BEST OUT THERE. THE LUXURY IS INCREDIBLE AND SERVICE SECOND TO NONE. 14 HOUR FLIGHT FELY LIKE A 4 HOUR FLIGHT. FULL FLAT BED AND SLEPT FOR OVER 8 HRS. BEST FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT I HAVE SEEN. BEST WINE , FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. YOU HAVE TO " BOOK THE COOK" , ITS GREAT.
HAVE FLOWN BA FIRST AND ITS ALSO GOOD BUT NOT IN THE SAME CLASS AS SINGAPORE.

We flew FC on Lufthansa. The FC section was on the upper deck of a 747.

Sleeper seats, 10 different kinds of wines and 3 flight attendants for 13 passengers made for a pleasant flight.
