Miami International Airport

I am traveling to the Bahamas from Las Vegas. My route is Las Vegas to Miami to Nassau and then Long Island (Dead Man's Cay). My problem is that I booked on Frontier to Miami and Bahamas-air from Miami to Dead Man's Cay) not realizing that when I reach Miami (we will land on Concourse G):
1. I will have to claim my luggage in area G bottom floor
2. go to Area H 1ST Floor- the Bahamas-air ticket counter and recheck the bag
3. then go through security and to the departure gate which should also be in the G concourse area

On return I need to do almost the same steps but Frontier ticket counter is in area G.

Both Airlines use Concourse G.

I have only 90 minutes layover to do all this when I arrive at Miami from Las Vegas and only 75 minutes when I return from Nassau to do the 3 above steps again.

Is this enough time or do you think I will need more time and if so, how much more time?

Depends if a guy is reloading his gun in the luggage claim.

Can you travel carry-on only?

No I have to bring a lot of stuff with me.

Your first mistake was booking Frontier . . . >>)

But it doesn't really matter at this point, they are booked so you just have to deal with it. If all your flights are on time you'll be OK, but if anything goes pear shaped you are SOL

to go pearshaped I got that.
SOL ? stranded on landing ?

Frontier is a perfectly fine airline, but you will be traveling to and re-entering from another country, so janis's implicit critique that you f----d up with too little connection time (especially considering you're clearing customs coming back home) and better hope for the best is correct.

There's no way I'd do < 2 hours for a US connection from an international flight, and I wouldn't go to that minimum in a busy international airport like Miami.

On your return, you should go through U.S. immigration in Nassau. The Bahamas has U.S. pre-clearance at Nassau and Freeport. I assume Bahamasair uses it for all its U.S.-bound flights. If that's the case, you land in Miami essentially as if it were a domestic flight.
