MIA to STT = $634 - too much! Help!
 

Trying to go Miami to St. Thomas and the fares are outrageous - over $600 - American is the only carrier. What can I do to cut this a bit? Any coupons or deals I can take advantage of? I have some time until my trip, does this route get discounted ever?

Most connect in San Juan. A round-trip fare for less than $500 can be found either through the individual airline page or by doing some simple research on one of the travel sites.

If you can be a little flexible with time of depart/arrival....try priceline. i just got two round trip tickets from providence,ri to STT(in june 2002). $489 each round trip.only 2 stops on the way back and one connection on the way down.
