Malev Air - worst airline ever
 

If you're thinking about visiting Hungary, don't bother taking Malev - it was about as bad as it gets. I took it to fly nonstop between JFK and Budapest (which was lovely) but in the future I would take a 14 hour layover in Siberia rather than take Malev again.

I would be interested to hear more details. What happened to make you feel so strongly about this?

Did you attempt to defect to Malevania?

Thanks, Faina, now it all makes sense. I had forgotten this is the national airline of Molvainia!! No wonder it was so bad.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought Malev was the national airline of Hungary with Budapest as a hub? What does it have to do with Molvania?
