Luggage mysteries

Standing and fidgeting at the airport luggage carrousel, wondering when/if it will spit out your bag, is a constant source of travel stress. This report, from a rival travel website, explains a lot about what goes on in the belly of the aircraft. http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/blog/...%3A%3A142513_a

what about PRIORITY tags on the bags. They always seem to come out faster. Are they all put in the same "can"

To quote the article
"But the cheapest—and most surefire—way to get through the airport faster remains to go all carry-on and to altogether avoid the wait at the carousel."

I so agree, mlgb. We haven't checked bags in a few years. We haven't felt the need for anything we weren't able to pack, everything goes so much faster and smoother. Will take a 19 night cruise in Nov., Venice to Ft. Lauderdale. Will take one carryon each, and one personal item each.

Gate checked luggage is usually out faster, too :)
