Lufthansa transit at frankfurt :Bangalore to JFK
I am travelling from Bangalore to JFK, New york.
My 1st flight is from BLR to Frankfurt. Flight number is LH 755.
It lands at around 8:55 am in Frankurt. Terminal is 1 b
My next flight is from FRA to JFK which scheduled at 10:20 am. Terminal mentioned is 1 AB gate Z counter 260-338.
What is this terminal AB ???
Will the 1.5 hr transit time be enough for me to board the next flight to New York ??
How much time will it take to go from 1B to 1AB ???

1b means Terminal 1, Hall B; 1ab means that it might be either Hall A or Hall B in Terminal 1. Halls A and B are connected by a tunnel with a moving walkway. When you exit from your flight to FRA, look at the TV monitors in the terminal to find the gate from which your JFK flight departs, then follow the signs to that gate. You'll have to go through security, but not immigration.
As is the case with 99% of such questions, you will have enough time if your incoming flight is on time. If your incoming flight is delayed and you miss the 10:20 flight, Lufthansa has another flight to JFK later in the day.

Flights to the US require an extra security which can take some time if there is a long queue. You do not have time to delay - go straight to the departure gate. Lufthansa is good at expediting passengers who have a departure time that is fast approaching through security, so if you are close to departure let a Lufthansa agent know and they can take you to a special line.

Z gates departures are in Terminal 1A.
But always double check the gate for your connecting flight on the displays once you disembarked from your flight from BLR.
You can ignore the numbers for counters - those are only relevant for people checking luggage landside in FRA.
1.5 hrs is pretty much the norm for connecting in FRA. If your flight arrives on time (and those long-distance flights usually arrive ahead of time if they take off on time), it will be no problem.
Otherwise, the procedure is as DonTopaz and J62 wrote.
