Lufthansa Flies A380 out of Houston??

My seat number changed on a IAH to FRA flight on Lufthansa. So I checked the schedule and it shows an aircraft change from a 747 to A380.

I did not know A380's flew into Houston and wondered if this is correct or a computer glitch. The flight is for Feb, 2013.

It is supposed to start in August.

Makes sense as Houston is the largest hub for United, a huge business destination, and a great connecting point for flights between the EU and much of Latin America.

What terminal will they use?

No reason why it won't be E.

Sorry, I mean D!!!!

Thanks, rkkwan. I've read that some airports do not like them because they take up so much space. Is IAH happy about their arrival?

IAH has plenty of gate space at Terminal D and wide taxiways for the A380. It won't be a problem. Not sure if they've added a jetway for upper deck, but that's not a pre-requisite for A380 operations.
