Some funny ideas, some not so funny...
But here's a concept - why not go back to regulation and let the airlines charge the actual cost of transportation?
When you check for airfares between two points(which are cheaper now than they were 35 years ago), then go to AAA.com and let it calculate the gas cost for a trip if you were to drive it..then add the cost of auto maintenance, extra days off work to drive the distance, food enroute, hotel stays enroute, etc., then you realize what a bargain air travel truly is right now.
So, while I do understand the whole fee thing driving us crazy, it's still a bargain.

Here is one that is coming ....
25 cents per square (sheet) for toilet paper.
You pay the attendent cash, they hand you the number of sqaures (sheets) of toilet paper you think you will need before you go in and use the facilities.
If you didn't buy enough paper, you can always wash your hands and hope that they do not charge you for the use of the water.
