LAX strike problems?

Some of the service industry is on strike at LAX although today's Times article made it sound like there were no real delays but we fly on Sun a.m. on Delta and am now wondering if we have to get there extra early?

Unless you need wheelchair assistance or some janitorial services I don't see a reason for getting there early. YMMV. :-)

I was only concerned because of the baggage handlers too-we have several bags to check and I'd like them to make the flt.

If that's the case, call Delta. I believe they have their own employees doing the luggage handling so it shouldn't be a problem. I believe, but I'm not certain, the striking baggage handlers work for a company that provides services to many of the international airlines that have only 1, 2 or 3 flights a day and thus don't need a full time staff.

Thanks, and according to the paper today, Delta is not one of the airline's affected and nothing on their website but I will give a call too.
