If you're just going between the NYC area and Paris, and don't care about FF miles, then it's definitely a good deal.

Only the first 999 tickets sold are at this price and you complete travel by March 31.

I checked for a mid-May flight and round-trip was $1505 before taxes. Not too bad either, but only one flight a day, 6 days a week.

My French is rusty, but doesn't Avion Air mean Airplane Air?

I think so. So, you're flying "THE plane". Like you're "THE man, flying THE plane, going to THE Paris in THE Europe".
