last minute travel at Christmas time

..where do I find deals for last minute Christmas travels?.(.not sure where to post this). We are in San Diego and only want warm weather things. Are there any specific sites?????...you have all been so great with your answers to my France questions that now we want to "practice" by going for a week or two.

I wasn't sure where to find these packages.

We are in SAN Diego.

Overall, I've found the best listing of last minute deals at smarterliving.com

You can sign up to be mailed when there's deals out of certain airports. Most of the deals listed are almost last minute and are only for a very short window of travel, such as leave Saturday & return by following Monday.

If you want pkgs only, try site59.com; they are no good for flight-only, though.

Travelocity has a pretty good section for last minute travel.

Once you find out what airlines are offering low last minute fares to what cities (using any of these services) it is worth going to the airline's sites and seeing what deals they offer on just the airfare.
