Last minute flight help

Hi, all! I need help finding an inexpensive (<$300) flight. I need to fly to Dallas next week (Aug 4), and all of the flights I am finding are close to $500 or more. I would ideally like to pay around $300 or less, although I realize that is not always possible when booking at the last minute. I also have just over 25,000 Northwest worldperks points, but it looks like with such short notice I would have to have around 50,000 to book.

Here are the details:
Greensboro, NC (or Raleigh or Charlotte) to Dallas, leaving 8/4 (has to be 5pm or later), returning 8/6 (anytime)

If anyone can assist or point me in the right direction, I will be oh so grateful!!!

Cheapest I can find are two one-way tickets:

8/4 ATA RDU-MDW-DFW 6:25p 11:19p $193.10 all-in from southwest.com

8/6 USAirways DFW-CLT-RDU 7:00a 12:07p $208.10 all-in from usairways.com

Total, just over $400.

Have you tried priceline.com ?

Priceline won't work for the OP as she has specific time restraint on the outbound. Same with Hotwire.

And when I tried Hotwire on those dates, the price is around $450 for GSO or RDU.

Thanks for the responses so far! I didn't consider the two one-ways idea--actually that price is cheaper than anything else I've found. Tomorrow's the day -- I have to buy. I've been hoping I would catch one of the sales airlines sometimes have for a few hours, but so far no luck.
