KLM SFO to AMS Will It Be A Trip From Hell?
 

We are traveling via KLM from San Francisco to Amsterdam on a MD-11 in economy class, aisle seats. Can we expect an OK trip, or will it be a trip from hell?

Hi herman, although I would prefer to be in business class versus economy I have never found the KLM flights from SFO to Amsterdam (I too have always had an aisle seat) terrible. A long flight yes, but I sure wouldn't describe it as a trip from hell. Of course it would depend on your seatmates and who is in front and behind you. I have always found the FA's very pleasant, professional but pleasant.

I agree with LoveItaly. I've flown this route several times in economy. It's a long flight, typical economy class, but not "a trip from hell" by any means. I just sleep most of the way.

i suppose San Fransisco could be described as Hell !!

Well blightyboy, I am not a fan of SFO. I love the Amsterdam airport however.
