KLM seats and customer service

Jump to last reply

Bot 2 seat on AMS to JFK on 9/11/12 using KLM website. Used credit card to buy preffered seats (2 across).

Got receipt and itinerary by email with all correct info. Just got an updated email of itinerary with different seat (not preffered and my wife and I are now 10 rows apart.

Called Delta (the US agent) and was told their computer showed I had no seats reserved for this flight either way. They also told me that they had no control over KLM and could do nothing. Eventually the supervisor said that she would change our seats to bring them together and she gave me new seat numbers. She also said there was no mention of the pfd seating that I had paid for earlier.

I just called Delta again and was told that since we are no longer "silver: level at delta our pfd seating was cancelled even tho we had paid for it 6 months ago and we never got a refund or any notice. Furthermore the latest itinerary does not show the change made by the supervisor. Finally, Delta has confirmed that I have seats together.

However, KLM does not have this on their website. It is very frustrating not knowing what is happening. Any suggestons or telephone numbers for KLM directly would be appreciated.

Thanks

Klm has no domestic
