Is There An App ...???

Is there an app that would notify you when AA AAdvantage flights become available between specified cities--in a specified date range?

I've been checking the AA site several times a day, and the available flights keep changing, but the date I'm hoping for hasn't opened up yet. It sure would be great if there were an app that would let you know ...

Not an app per se, but you can do this with ExpertFlyer (www.expertflyer.com ). Pick a flight and a class of service, set up an Alert, and ExpertFlyer sends you an email when a seat opens up.

ExpertFlyer is a subscription service, and getting Alerts requires the Premium level of EF.

Thanks so much for the info -- but it won't work for me. The premium level ("Pro") only works for nonstop and direct flights--not for connecting flights--which are what I need.

No app. You just need to keep checking. It's in the airline's best interest to make it as difficult as possible for you to redeem miles and an app doesn't jive with that.

Good luck.

Very true!
