Iberia Airline Food

We are booked on Iberia for a flight from ORD to Madrid in June. I noticed that our ticket says beverage only. We are flying Coach. I can't believe they wouldn't offer food on such a long flight. Anyone flown on them recently that could advise me on the food situation so I know if we have to pack food? Thanks.

I flew Iberia round trip JFK-Madrid two months ago, in economy to Madrid and Business back to JFK. Food was served in both classes of service. You will be served meals. I must also say that the food was truly awful. Even worse than the food served by American Airlines and that is saying a lot. If I were to fly Iberia again I'd try to bring my own sandwich and snacks.

Dtr flew JFK-MAD in the summer. She reports being fed twice, food was edible - usual airline fare. She flew coach. (Although she is 17 she is well traveled and is turning into a foodie - so I might even trust her reports).

If you call Iberia, there are certain times of day listed on website when you can get someone who speaks English.

Looking at my computer at work, I know dinner will be served as well as snacks but cannot confirm that breakfast will be served seeing as you're getting in at 7:45am.

You'll get supper and a light breakfast - pastry, fruit salad or some such.
