Austrian Air Budapest Vienna Vienna Dubrovnik
Does anyone have any experience with this type of connection. Do you know if we have the ability to check our luggage all the way through from Budapest to Dubrovnik. Or do we have to clear Immigration and re check bags? We only have 40 minutes between the first flight arriving into Vienna and our next one leaving Vienna to Dubrovnik. Thanks

Your luggage will be checked through and you will not need to change terminals in Vienna. But, you may be taking a shuttle bus to and from the terminal for both flights, and that could limit your ability to rush through the connection if your arrival flight is delayed. OTOH, your checked luggage could result in a brief hold on the flight for you and other connecting passengers to make the flight rather than removing the bags. Chances are both the arriving and departing flights will be on the same concourse.
