Thanks to, apparently, Alaska Air for this gem, which Mary1 kindly posted on the US forum. No one should miss this.

Woops, sorry, didn't realize you couldn't click on it as a link if it's in a title slot on the webpage. So you can use this as a link: http://www.skyhighairlines.com/

I'm glad to see this thing is finally getting the laughs it deserves. I was surprised it didn't get much reaction a few months back:

Ooops! I guess it just brings us back to the same place.

Sorry if you felt slighted, Flyboy. I wasn't on line much at that time of year, and maybe that was true of lots of others. In any case, they've kept adding things and I love people's reaction to it. Wish we could see a mapping of the "diaspora" of this particular website -- it must be spreading all over the world in rapid fashion. Brilliant idea by Alaska Air and/or their ad agency.

Flyboy,
How did you post a "clickable" link? |
Dick, I don't know how I did it -- it just happened.
Cassandra, I'm just glad people are finally getting some laughs out of it and perhaps when I posted it in the midst of the holidays, it made it very likely that a lot of people would miss it. Okay, let's see if it's "clickable" now: http://www.skyhighairlines.com/ If not, maybe it only applies to Fodors threads? Dunno. |
Fodors links automatically become clickable, but unfortunately there's no way to make others clickable, so we all must cut and paste . . . <<sigh>> :)

Does anybody remember a bogus advertising jingle from the 70's or 80's that went "Skyhigh Airlines, We've got our head in the clouds"? Now I've got it going through my head and I can't remember who did it (comedy group? satirist?).
