My closest airport is Syracuse Ny (15 minutes away from home). I have gone as far as Toronto Canada and Newark New Jersey for better fares. Both 4.5 hour drives. Syracuse is known for it's high air fares and our communty can generally get cheaper fares at numerous airports only 1.5-2 hours away. Most of us will drive quite a distance for a decent air fare. I have managed to fly out of Syracuse at rock bottom prices though. It's hit or miss. Thankfully we now have Jet Blue for domestic routes.
