HK singapore fares
 

Does anyone know of any special deals being offered HK SIngapore return? Do not want to fly out of Macau as adds too much time plus with the hydrofoil fares ends up not being so cheap anymore.

Looking at www.tiglion.com, a HK-based agent, lowest possible fares are on China Airlines for HK$1,180. SQ, UA and CX has fares of HK$1,580 on selected flights.

HK$1,580 - or about $200 - is a pretty typcial roundtrip fare for HKG-SIN.

Oh, and there is now a low-cost airline on this route. Jetstarasia has low fares of about HK$500 each way on some days, but regular fares is about HK$2,000 one-way.

BTW, Tiger Airway's MFM-SIN flight is as low as S$65 or ~US$38 each way, including tax. Probably still the cheapest way to get to Singapore even after adding the ferry fare.

Thanks rkkwan - feel Macau adds just too much travel time to what is otherwise a short trip. China Airlines timings don't work too well for me - am considering UNited and of course the fallback option is always CX.
