Help with Business flights with Thai!

Hi all

I am going to Vietnam soon and never bought a business flight, only went in business with award tickets.

I will be flying Paris- Bangkok- Ho Chi Minh and return Hanoi- Bangkok - Paris.

I can get a business ticlket for this trip for 2.750 Euros on Thai Airways. Do you think it's a good price for Business and is it worth it? How is Thai Airways business? I understood the planes are 747-400.

If I don't go in business I can get the same itinerary on Singapore Airlines for 943 Euros in economy.

Can you please help here?

Thanks in Advance!

I'm not sure what you're looking for.... When you say you're buying a business flight - my assumption is that you mean Business Class. I would do a search on whatever travel search engine you use to see a comparison of all the airlines, and the prices that they offer. That should show you the differences in prices. You really can't compare economy pricing to business class pricing - so be sure to compare apples to apples..... For both the airlines you've mentioned, I've heard really good things.....

Debi,thanks for your reply.

The fact tis that I intended to fly economy but came across a Thai flight in Business class for 2.750 euros, less 1000 euros or more than in other airlines. That made me wonder if it was worth the extra money flying business in Thai.

As I know that Singapore Airlines is one of the best airlines I asked if it was worth paying to fly with Thai .

I KNOW that business isn't the same as economy, I just asked if it was worth the extra money.

Thai Biz Class is pretty good. Seats aren't my favorite, but service is generally good. You might also want to check to see if Thai has Premium Economy on this flight. It's a good balance between economy and biz.

I've also heard that the Business class is quite nice in both - but premium economy is always a good option if it's available. It all depends on if you have the money... I fly all the time internationally for business (from the States) and when I fly over 14 hours, my company pays for business class. If I had to pay for it myself (unless, like you, I had points) - I would be going Coach....and I would be praying for Premium Economy.... :)
