Help pls! Trying to fly on the same flight but no seats left...

any chance some seats will become available later?

I was waiting for DH to book his flight so that I could choose to sit next to him. He forwarded me the itinerary (Paris CDG to Buffalo, NY) after he booked, which was a few hours ago. I went to look for the Delta flight and it is not coming up.

Flight is on Aug 15 - should I wait and see if seats become available?

Sorry if this is a stupid question it's been a very long time since I've been to Europe so lack a sense of what flight availability is like.

Any input much appreciated.

Enjoy-la!

Have you tried calling Delta? That's what I'd do.

Ensure you are searching by schedule, not price, to bring up more flights. You also should try searching using MultiCity rather than Roundtrip as that also sometimes shows flights not otherwise shown.

There are several DL flights from CDG to Buffalo, and all have seats remaining. There are 2 flights via JFK -- one at 8.25am, and a second at 1.55pm. The 8.25 flight is operated by Air France, but it's also a DL codeshare.

Maybe you could save us some guesswork and let us know which flight he's on?

Thx a mint for all the replies and info! :)

Using your suggestions, I was able to find the flights. However, when I went to book them, it went to an error page. At one point it showed it at over 2000Euros!!

I tried closing the browser, trying again, shutting down my system, etc. When I called, the agent was able to find the flights and book me on. She was wonderful in her professionalism and thoroughness, and even helped select seats next to DH! First time flying Delta so it set a really good tone for me.

Sorry DonTopaz - I did not mean to be cryptic, just didn't expect so much help. Thx for looking that up too!

So my first trip to Germany is a go! I initially heard about this trip yesterday and spent ALL day researching it, then I heard it wasn't going to happen. I'd already taken the disappointment so when I heard to day that flights were being booked, I was giddy...LOL!

Enjoy-la!

Which explains your giddy laughter when you fell on your tuchas at the Boston GTG.

Congratulations getting the flight . . . and the trip! Have fun and be sure to take your phone so you can continue to beat me at WWF.
