Help me relocate this airfare website
On our last trip to Italy I used a website to find airfare and now can't remember the name of it. You were not able to actually book on the site, but could get the flight info. It gave detailed info. on flight codes, and cost per leg of the journey. Does anyone have any ideas of what it might be??

Thanks to both of you. AAFrequentFlyer you found it - it was itasoftware!!

Jgg-one thing about ITA software-most people thing it's the final word on lowest fares- it isn't-it's useful for comparison purposes, but I've discovered lower fares that were NOT included on the ITA website.
|
There is no 1 site that is the "final word" on lowest airfares, but I just assume that most people know that.....
|
Well count me as one of those who did think ITA showed the lowest fares available, until I found to the contrary.
However, the new farecompare.com provides more useful info. for my purposes than ITA, and well may show the lowest fares available of any of the search engines-but comparison searches over time will have to be done in order to indicate how accurate it is. |
ITA will only display published fares.
On many routes, a consolidator will have access to nett fares which can represent quite a saving against a published fare. |
Group airfares
We are 12 adults going to Italy can anyone advise group rate web site or agency? Thanks! |
Find the best fare, and then contact the airline directly. Most can give you further discount for groups of 10 or more.
