Help! I goofed up dates for a FF ticket!!
 

I booked the wrong dates for two first class FF tix on United/USAirways for a domestic ticket this July. I called and tried to change the dates but there are no seats avialable within five days on either side of what I need. The website has seats available on days surrounding my new dates. Does anyone know when the airline might release seats that would become available?

Well, one of the answers is "maybe never" and that is the problem. But if you list the airline in question, you might find someone here who "specializes" in that carrier (plus partners) and can give you more focused advice.

Try United/USAirways on www.flyertalk.com. You will find the individual airlines under "Miles and Points" in the middle box. It is a very responsive, knowledgable source of information.

Update--after calling United three days in a row with no luck, I had just about given up. My horoscope today said, "Nothing can stop you once you make up your mind." So I tried again and with only changing the arrival city, I got the dates I needed. Whew!!!!
