I just need to know if these Airports are difficult to navigate?, especially Tokyo-Narita? I have never been there....if you guys can think of anything that would make my flight easier i would be very grateful, oh and i'm not checking any luggage..Navigating the Airports is the only thing that worries me.....thanks a million.

You can usually look at terminal maps on the airport's website. For Detroit, click on one of the terminal maps and then click the pdf for a closer view.

I fly through Narita frequently and it's pretty straight forward. I fly UA, but it appears that Delta arrives/departs from the same terminal as United ( Terminal 1), which is easy to navigate IMO (and I'm logistically challenged!).

All connecting passengers have to clear security again, but it's quick and easy.

Forgot to mention that there's usually a sign board showing connecting flights just past the jetway, so you know where your gate is before you even clear security.

I found Narita difficult to navigate. From memory I am sure I thought there were not enough signs in English. I had to line up at at one of the help counters to ask for advice on where to go and once I got that, I was fine. A bit time consuming but I managed fine.

Have been through NRT on Delta several times and it is quite easy. Signs are clear although the route is somewhat circuitous seemingly. But you should have no problem.

Detroit will be pretty easy, but you will be walking a long way, especially on the way back, because the CRJ terminal is a LONG walk to the big jets. But, it is easy to navigate if you don't mind walking. And there is always the tram.
