Hawaiian or United?
 

Does anyone have any preference between United Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines from SFO to Kauai???

We have flown Hawaiian Air several times, we love them. I think all the flight attendents are hawaiian, so it gets you in the mood. We've talked to several on different flights that live on the islands and got some great tips on what to see/do. The planes are very clean and up to date. We don't have any experience with United, good or bad. Hopefully for you someone else can give their two cents.

having never flown hawn air from the mainland to kauai, and having flown ua NUMEROUS times, fly hawaiian.

We actually had a not-so-great first experience with Hawaiian last month when our seats got shuffled around twice before boarding and we ended up sitting apart from Vegas to HNL. The food, plane and attendents were all OK.

I have flown United several times to Hawaii and also Hawaiian. Hawaiian is better in my experience. Less delays, better flight times.
