Hartsfield airport terminals

Hi so, I have a layover at hartsfield and I land on Terminal S and Gate A20. But I looked on there map and I see concourse A has that Gate but the the terminal says S. Can anyone help me out? I'm just really confused and the whole super busy airport thing is making is worse.

For ATL:

"Terminals" are the buildings at the two ends of the airport. They are where check-in counters, baggage claims, etc are housed.

"Concourse" are the buildings between the two terminals. They are where the gates are located and where your board your flights.

Once you understand this, you should be able to answer your own question.

The Domestic Terminal have two "sides" of check-in counters. North and South. Has nothing to do with you.

They should not mention S (for south terminal) when referring to ATL gates.Just remember to look at your inflight magazine,SKY for a map of ATL gates.
