I only have xeperience with American Airlines and Southwest.Since Southwest serves Manchester-Tampa, I would choose them. It's been a few years but it was very easy. You make the reservation, they fax you a contract, there is a deposit and they give you a date for final payment of the air fare.If I remember correctly, you can even substitue and or do name changes right till flight time.Good Luck and have fun whatever you do.

Thanks for the replies. We are hopefully going to nationals for cheerleading. And I only have 3 weeks to plan. I won't know if we are going until Saturday. So I'm hoping there are seats available. And it seems you can't group book over the weekends. Stress!!

I agree with BeachBoi.I have found Southwest to be the most reasonable, and fair airlines to deal with. I would go with them if you can. Without a doubt.I am looking right now at seats for JAX with SW that are $54.00 one way.

BeachBoi has a good approach. It's possible to have trouble booking that many seats on short notice because fare buckets (and planes) sell out. I would suggest that for right now, you get contact information for a group sales representative at any of the airlines you might use and find out about their procedure so that you are ready to swing into action as soon as you know the situation.

Hmmm, just noticed your time frame.Less than 2 weeks before travel you might not even be able to book a group. Most of the airlines according to my airline friends won't even talk group within a month of travel. And, on your side, the group is not that large. So breaking it up might get you better fares anyway.Traditionally, group fares are not "bargains".My TA is handling a group from DFW to Cancun mid March. At the time the group of 45 approached him, internet fare was $335.The group fare they have contracted is $650.00 EACH! You do pay for the priviliege of travelling together as a group.
