Great deal using UA ff miles
 

UA did away with their saver awards so much to my amazement I saw an offer for ORD-BKK for dates in both November and December for biz seats for only 120k miles RT. Before you ask yes all legs are biz.

So if you are interested this is a great time to jump on it.

How long this offer will be there I have no idea.

That's funny, I was just looking at that last night. I saw that it was 82,500 miles for one-way to Tokyo but only 60,000 miles to BKK. Both itineraries (from LAX) had nonstop business class on United to Tokyo. The catch is that the TYO-BKK leg on Thai is in economy.

ok, Oct 1, both legs in business class, LAX-TYO-BKK

And you might find better results than I do if you have a United-affiliated credit card.

I do have a Mileage plus card.

That window is closed, at least for now. Those flights today are around minimum 174k miles for biz.

I posted this on flyer talk and someone snatched up a flight for the 60k deal. I hope others did as well.
