Flying to Hawaii - Ear trouble
 

I have always had troubles with my ears, had tubes 3 times and I'm only 20. I have tried the ear plugs but they dont work that well for me. My last flight to Hawaii, it took 2 days after i landed for my ears to pop and a red fluid came out. So my first flight is 2 hours and then my next one right after a 50 min layover is 9 hours. I have afrin, should I use it 30 min before my first flight, and then 30 min before I land? And then on top of that do the same thing for the second flight? It says not to exceed using it twice in 10-12 hours so wanted to check. Is there anything else I can on top of this? My flight home will be 6.5 hours and then another 6.5 hours.

That sounds awful. Please see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist. Nobody here can give you better advice than a doctor. Good luck.
