Flights to Paris

Just looking for opinions on airlines to Paris. I'm traveling from Boston. Going late May. Iberia has lowest prices but worst reviews. Any good or bad experience........

Do you collect miles with anyone?

There are a lot of code shares with Iberia/American/British Airways. Free alcohol with BA and free wine with Iberia. Also, better movies with BA. Video on Demand with BA. When I fly with BA I feel like I'm treated like an adult. When I fly with American, I feel like I am treated like a child. Just my opinion. BA is using a 747-400 while American is using a 757, which only has one isle. I'd pay $40 more to fly BA but that is because I like wine--not sodas with my dinner.

Barring the expense being completely out of whack, why not fly AF on the nonstop flight? Only major downside is that the flight leaves awfully early.

We just booked Air France. I kept watching the fares on Kayak and suddenly saw a great fare on one nonstop flight from the West Coast. We haven't used AF in four years, but we really liked the food and the service. However, coach is pretty cramped like most airlines. We've flown United but it's also cramped but with horrible food and not great service. Good luck.

Try Aer Lingus via Dublin

I've flown Air France several times and I've always been pleased with their service. Of course price and schedule are important but if all else is equal I do recommend AF. I especially love the free French wine, even in coach.

Thank you.

Unless you are desperately in need of saving money, I find the following to be the most critical issues (I am 6'3", 250 lbs, and have to fly coach).

1. Non-stop is better than a one-stop which is better than a connection, except maybe for Icelandic to Scotland.
2. Aircraft. 757's are miserable for more than 3 hours, domestically or internationally. They would be okay on Icelandic where you have a shorter flight, a layover, then an even shorter flight, but not transatlantic.
3. Price
4. National carrier

Head down to Newark and take Open Skies! We did that from Chicago.
