flight to Amman

Can anyone give me any ideas what airlines would fly one way from southern Europe to Amman. We are flying from the west coast, joining a tour in Amman and would like to spend a few days somewhere in Europe to acclimatize before the tour. Our return would be from Cairo home. Thanks

Check out Royal Jordanian's website. They fly from various Southern European cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome and Athens to AMM.

I realize Paris isn't exactly southern Europe but it would be a great stop for a few days and Air France does fly from CDG to Jordan. If Paris is too far north you can always hop on a train to the south of France.

What airline is taking you over the Atlantic?

not sure yet but likely Lufthansa out of Seattle or Vancouver. At the moment they have the best fare.

The universal answer to questions like this (though, since the answer seems so screamingly obvious and questions are always asked by Americans, maybe American airports are different) is to google the airport website.

No other source - at least in Europe or Asia - so conveniently tells you all the direct flights into a place. And in Amman there's only one airport
