firstclassflyer.com

Does anyone have any insight to how they work if you buy a membership? Are they really going to get you all they imply?

The cost is $97 per year. They say you can get first copy free and then cancel if you are not satisfied for a full refund.

Do they really have all the insider tips they have or is it bs?

Thanks...
Debi

All the "inside info" you need is available free at www.flyertalk.com, but if you have $100 bucks you need to give away, I will be very happy to give you my e-mail address.....

I'm with AAFF on this one. Don't waste your money and check out flyertalk.com instead. You'll get great advice and information there on all sorts of travel-related matters.

I kind of figured it wasn't worth the $$. I do use flyertalk.com, but get lost over there. I, like everyone else, am trying to figure how to get business/first class tickets for the least amount of $$ as I have pretty much used up FF miles on last trip to HI.

Thanks again...

I agree the format and moderation of flyertalk is very poor.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a magic way to get biz/first class tickets anymore. There are so many restrictions on upgrading economy fares that unless you are a super premier elite member it is very difficult. The smaller carriers seem to make it easier to upgrade. For Hawaii you might look into Aloha and Hawaiian.

Flyertalk isn't really a place to find cheapest fares, except for some really special one-time deal for flyers to do "mileage runs" - i.e. flights to get maximum miles.

It's mainly a place to talk about FF programs and stuff about specific airlines. Like how to get maximum miles, upgrade procedures, etc. Again, not how to find the best fares.
