First class to Cancun on AA

I'm flying on AA from Lax to Cancun though Dallas. The flight to DAllas is on an M80. Are the first class seats Business elite or Domestic First? I know that the 757 to cancun will have those old leather domestic first but not sure about the M80.

AA calls its domestic first class service "business" on flights to the Caribbean/Mexico/Canada. It's the same chairs and food-ish substances as on domestic F.

MD-80s seats are newer but (IMO) not especially any more comfortable than the shabby leather jobs on the 757s. The MD-80 seats are narrower, the legroom the same or less, and there's no in-flight entertainment. Enjoy.

These are not long flights so unless you plan to drink a lot of alcohol, use some miles for the upgrade, or need a larger seat, I'd fly coach. In coach, the plane seats 2 and 3 and in business it is 2 and 2. No movie or music on this flight.

Thanks for the info. One other question though. Do the M80 seats have foot stools? My flight is at 1am and the only way I can get any sleep is if my feet are not dangling down...would rather have narrower seat with the foot rests.
