Figuring out where Delta flies to direct from BDL
I know there must be a way to do this, but I can't figure it out. I have some delta tickets I need to use but only want a direct flight in US . So far it seems there is only Atlanta. Please help me navigate the website. Thanks.

Map at:
http://delta.innosked.com/%28S%28urm...9/Default.aspx I have found this sort of info before by going to the airport's website and checking all the departing flights on a given day for a given airline. It will list the nonstop destination. Of course, a direct can be a stop with continuation on the same flight to a second city. But sometimes even then they change equipment or make you leave the plane for the stop. |
I love maps, so I just had to play with that one before I shut down the computer.
Looks like you can go to LA, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Cancun, and several NC and FL destinations nonstop from Hartford, in addition to Atlanta, of course. |
Delta has been reducing the # of direct flights from Bradley lately, especially the ones going west. Hopefully you can find one you like but I agree with Kay2's list. Thats about all that remain and even then, there arent many flights to each.

I would go to flighstats.com and look up departures from the airport that way and then you can select only delta flights. probably easier than the airports website or even delta's website.

I just go to Wikipedia. The page for each airline will list the cities served. Here is the link for BDL:

Thanks. I'm still not seeing the Fl or NC destinations.

its
www.flightstats.com (another poster had the wrong link) If you go to flightstats.com, choose airport ont he right (BDL) and Delta airlines, you'll see all delta flights for today I saw Minneapolis, Orlando, Detroit, Cincinnati, New York and Atlanta. |
I'm still not seeing the Fl or NC destinations.
Raleigh-Durham doesn't start until November 1 and the Tampa, Ft Lauderdale, and Palm Beach flights start up around November 20. This is in addition to Orlando service which is already running. I must confess to not really understanding the insistence upon a nonstop flight. Transferring isn't that much of a hassle (Detroit is especially easy, as is Cincinnati) and I would think it worth it to increase your options. |
travelgourmet: thanks for the info. This would be a longish weekend getaway so don't want to deal with extra flights. Some people don't find transfers a hassle, we do. But I will check it out.
