Fare sales in March?? Need r/t SFO-CDG for travel late May
 

Hello Fodorites,

I have recently seen a few fare sales for travel throughout Europe but fares are only good for travel through April. I will be travelling to Paris on May 20-28 out of SFO and the prices are still quite high. I don't want to buy yet as I'm hoping there would be a fare sale in the next couple of weeks for travel before June. Anyone out there know if this might be the case? Thank you!

Is this may 20 going over and 28 coming back? If so, the fares currently run around $1,100 total.
From the past experiences, I dont think the fares can go lower than that..

unless rising fuel costs/surcharges prices go skyhigh

oil just hit $108/barrel so book quickly B4 surchares start.

Some like www.ba.com already have them in place.

Looks like Swissair from $800 or Continental from $900

might be your best bet for May if you can make your dates

work and be flexible...

found a SFO FRA PAR RT flight for your dates $595/tax

on CheapoAir... probably as good as it will get $1100 all in.
