Fare on DELTA went down, is there any way I can take advantage of the sale?

The rt for my flight to Panama next month has dropped about $100 from what I paid when I bought three tickets. DELTA tells me no option to take advantage of sale unless fare drop is $200 or more. Any thoughts?

One other thing, I called them this morning and was on the line for well over a half an hour. Just after I hung up, I got an itinerary for the flights which completely omitted the first leg from RDU to ATL. I have written customer service but wondered should I be doing more? The flight is still over thirty days off.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Just answering your first question - if you have one of the cheapo fares, there is usually a fee associated with that fare to change your ticket, so the $200 quoted to you is probably the fee. Unless the fare drops $200+, it's not worth even thinking about a change.

I really don't understand your second question, but if for some reason delta.com dropped your first segment, then they should be able to correct it. I would look for Delta web services phone number and call them. E-mailing will probably take few days to get an answer.

Try signing up with yapta.com You fill out a form that lists your exact flights, dates and price paid.

They have a service [free] that will track current fares and email you if the fare drops enough to make the change worthwhile.
