Expiring FF Miles
 

If you have some odd FF miles in an account that you probably won't use before they expire, you can donate them to charity.

Does anyone know how these programs really work? Do those miles actually get redeposited into some charity's account or is a monetary donation made instead?

I just donated some odd Delta Sky Miles that I know I'd nver get a chance to use. It doesn't really matter to me whether the charity gets miles or money, I would have done it anyway. Just curious.

I would but don't even remember my Delta FF account number or the password to their site.

I work in fundraising (development). Call the specific organization you'd like to donate to and ask what their policy is regarding this type of contribution.

Hi Carrybean, I had the same problem regarding some FF miles with United. I called them and with my info..name, address etc., they pulled up my FF number. So try giving Delta a call.
