Empty 3oz bottles / containers

Where could one buy these? Target? Walmart? Thanks.

If you go to Target or Walmart, they're usually in the same section as the "travel size" products.

Another good place to look is the luggage department.

2 and 4 ounce containers are more prevalent than 3 ounce.

Beware of cheap bottles that are hard plastic or have flimsy caps. Leakproof Nalgene bottles are best.

Caps of different colors are recommended, too, as labels tend to come off quickly.

Do a web search for "leakproof travel bottles" - there's plenty out there.

I've purchased them at Walmart (as djkbooks mentions, in the travel-size product section). Last time I got a few, they were only 50 cents apiece.

Great for shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, etc. I always put them in a ziplock bag, though, just in case of leaks.

Happy travels!

Target has a whole new crop of the 3 oz. size bottles, clearly marked as being 3 oz. for security staff.

I just bought a bunch of those Nalgene bottles at The Container Store, and they seem really nice. I have heard Nalgene rinses out very thoroughly, so you can reuse the bottles for different products, if need be.

LLBean sells a set of 1- and 2-ounce Nalgene bottles, too.

I was in our local DollarTree store yesterday, and saw a set of three plastic bottles for travel. One had a regular cap, one had a squeeze flip-top cap, and the last one had a spray function. I believe all were about the same size. Thought about buying, but really don't need them right now.

Do you have Container Store near you? They have a wide selection of high quality bottles. I have found that cheap ones tend to leak.

Those 3 ounce bottles are great for Vodka, too. When I went through the London Gatwick Airport security, I was asked, what's in the bottles. I said vodka and it got quite a laugh.

I saw them in Walgreens.

I keep plastic bottles/containers from herbal pills I take, and refill them with shampoo, put a sticker on. Then toss to make more room for souvenirs :)
