Sorry-thought that paste and copy would work?

Anyway, my son is trying to buy a ticket on Emirates to fly from New Delhi to Frankfurt, Germany next month. He cannot purchase it online(website states this too) and I have tried to do it with all of his info and credit card info here in the USA and it still doesn't work. I have called Emirates and they keep giving us the same phone number in India to call which still won't help him book it.
I have even had Capital One(his credit card) try to authorize it while I am buying online and it still won't go through even though he has more than enough credit.

So does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I cannot believe that Emirates doesn't want our $948 USD for a ticket. He wants to fly Emirates as the times work out well for us to meet him in Frankfurt.

Hi! There are tons of travel agents across India and I'm certain he can easily find a competent one in Delhi.

I have been travelling with Emirates a lot and book through an agent here in India.

Probably for the same reason I cannot book on Hawaiian airlines website from the UK or anywhere outside the US/Australia. Nor can you book by phone (they will not take a non US issued credit card) so I booked through Travelocity which is what is being suggested here, to use a travel agent.

When you use sites like Kayak it goes straight to the Emirates website for direct booking so I quess that he will have to find a reliable travel agent up where he is in India-thanks!

You are most welcome. I LOVE Vayama and have used them for Africa and SE Asia trips--so efficient and so easy to use.

Well, I spoke too soon. Vayama called and said that they could not book it again with Emirates from India. Duh? But the guy was nice enough to suggest that I try doing it over the phone from the USA to see if it would go through. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it does-this is absolutely ridiculous. I never realized how much fraud issues are booked from India!
