EM power on 777

Taking a Continental flight that has an outlet for my computer but the outlet uses "EM Power Plug". Where can you buy these "EM Power Plugs"?

thanks!

The plug is called "Empower". Several makers have adapters for them. Like the Targus PA358U,
~$50 from various vendors.

If you're a Mac Powerbook, you may be able to use a cheaper adapter from Smartdisk. <$10 from a few merchants.

Also, Empower has limited current output. If you have a big laptop that takes lots of power, it may not work.

Another thing is that in coach on the 767 and 777s, only the front portion have Empower. And the 2 newest 777s have 110V regular AC socket in all seats, instead of Empower.

rkkwan -

thanks so much for your helpful information. i really appreciate it.

No problem. Now, I see that you specifically say 777 in your title.

Like I said, you don't need the Empower plug on two of the planes. Also, in coach, only rows 17-23 have Empower on the other 18 planes. Row 16 doesn't.
