DTW to YVR question

Traveling from SYR to DTW to YVR.
Do we have to change terminals in DTW?

rkkwan Mar 20th, 2008 05:36 PM

All NW flights use the McNamara Terminal.

The mainline NW DC-9s come in at Concourse A. Pinnacle CRJ comes in at Concourse C. Mesaba CRJ900 comes in at Concourse B.

You should be taking the earliest flight, NW1557, which is a DC-9 into Concourse A. Your flight to YVR will also depart from Concourse A.

It's a very long concourse, and they have a train with three stops in the concourse. Depending on the gates used on your date of travel, it may be faster to use that train.

Thanks, rkkwan!
I had looked at the airport map but could not figure out if we would also depart to Vancouver from Concourse A as well.

This is the only flight with one stop...as far as I can tell at this point. Do you think there is a chance it will be changed? Our trip is in Aug. I don't see it scheduled now so what does that mean?

The non-stop DTW-YVR is seasonal. Only in summer.

Thanks again! You are the best!!!

By the way, on our return we will be on flight NWA 194 to DTW and then flight 1560 to SYR. Will we arrive and depart on Concourse A ?

rkkwan Mar 25th, 2008 09:11 AM

Both of your return flights are also mainline. Not regionals. So, all will use Concourse A as well.
