It's something that may become moot, as the government is starting an unprecented plan of flying service members to their home, not just to a "jumping off point" in the U.S.
Unless you points are expiring soon, why not wait & if this happens, donate to something like "Make a Wish"?
Donating to service people sounds nice, but as a VietNam Era veteran - we always had to pay our own way - Uncle Sam only paid to get us from home to Boot Camp, then from duty station to duty station, then back home again. If you wanted to go home for "vacation" you paid from your own pocket. Service people today are MUCH better compensated than then (and do much less "grunt work" too), so I fail to see why they should consider paying from BWI & 2 other locations a hardship. Sorry that this sounds bitter, it's not, only "hard facts"
