Delta website - Aarggh! Can not book!
 

Have a good Mac which has been upgraded
(all systems) in the last few months. Can book
online for all other airlines. Am Delta ff member
(although this does not seem to matter on website-have tried to book both ways). Put in
my departure/arrival cities (very plain vanilla -
domestic destinations; with nonstop service).
Outbound "choice" comes up, but can not proceed. Note a flashing moment when word "select" appears (which ostensibly would let me
"choose" the outbound portion), but then disappears. Accordingly, can not proceed to pick
return flight and therefore unable to book any roundtrip ticket. Have tried both Safari and Internet Explorer. Prefer online booking, but would be willing to "bite the bullet" and pay fee
for agent, but tried this and finally hung up as wait
time (even for offshore agent in Bangalore) was
too long and could not reach anyone! Suggestions, please!

I have no problem using my Intel iMac running OS X 10.4.10, with either Firefox 2.0.0.4 or Safari 3.0.2 with delta.com.

Very responsive, and easily get to the page where I enter passenger information and credit card number, when I stopped.

Try firefox. Safari doesn't work well with some airlines (though I've never had problems booking Delta with it).
