Delta Premium Economy for Domestic Flights (U.S) Worth It?

I am considering upgrading from economy to premium economy on Delta for domestic travel in the U.S. Would this be worth it vs flying coach on Southwest? I am primarily looking for extra leg room and seat size.

Thanks in advance.

Its a small cost to upgrade to it and depending on the length of your flight I think it is worth it. Southwest coach is always crowded at least that has been my experience.

I definitely feel it is worth if, especially if you are tall. We always upgrade to premium economy and have never regretted making that choice.

For me it depends on the length of the flight, but for anything over an hour, we get PE at least.

Even if you are not tall it is worth the $. If the flight is a couple of hours long you will not regret the investment, unless it is an unacceptable amount.

Flew Comfort Economy with Delta recently to and from S.E. Asia. Definitely worth the extra room. We debated as it cost us another $500 for the two of us. Although, I have to say, it is still impossible for us to sleep. The extra leg room was a godsend but the 50% more recline was hardly noticed. What is 50% of almost nothing?
We were very near the business class and it was disconcerting to see the Haves cozy and comfortable in their pods! Not that we wouldn't do the same if we had the bucks......
